Two weeks later...

It looks like two weeks after the fact my comments on the catholic church have finally struck the nerve of some people. It shows how often people actually read what I write, "Oh about every two weeks." That is about how often I felt I am listened to as well, but that is another story for another day. Since it looks like maybe I finally have some worthy opponents for some open debate maybe I will post more often. It was getting boring posting to no response.

Answer me this, why is a woman not eligible to be pope? Are they not worthy of the holy throne? Isn't this the 21st century yet the Catholic church still believes that a woman is not worth of leading their people. Mother Teresa was a fine individual yet she would not have been acceptable to lead the church. Ratzlinger, however a former Nazi is an acceptable leader? Maybe you can explain that to me. And what is wrong with being Pope Ratzlinger the 1st? Why in the world do Popes feel it is necessary to take another name? Where in the bible does that come from? And the continued existance of the Catholic Church? Well it is the Roman Catholic church, which means it was a part of the Roman Empire, which at one point spread throughout the world, however it is only one interpretation of the bible, obviously the jews interpreted it completely different. Wasn't Jesus himself a Jew, and the Jewish faith lives on. So shouldn't we all be Jewish?

Yeah,

Pope Rat, like all popes, must give up their names because they essentially no longer exist. They foresake their earth life and exist only for the church. It is symbolic.

Mother Theresa was super neat. I think she really was the most well known catholic of our era. Unfortunately, if you read the bible, written by men, women didnt have an important place and that's why we will never see a woman pope. According to the bible, Jesus chose 12 men , not women. Not even one.

People like heirachy. IT makes them feel their place. Eventually, they will come to realize that IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU BELIEVE, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU DO, ALL HUMANS RETURN TO GOD. Jesus was the great love messenger.
