UPDATE: GI APPOINTMENT
I had an appointment with Dr. Collarian yesterday who is my GI at Kaiser. He was pleased with my lab results and is going to let me start eating solid foods tomorrow. If everything goes okay through the weekend then I get to have my IV removed when I go back to see my GP on Tuesday morning. Things are starting to look up as I am hopeful that my life can return to normal next week.

Oh Curt, I'm so glad you're doing okay !My goodness what a horrible ordel! Sounds like you have a great wife thats taking really good care of you! As for the whole Christian thing , not being able to come and see you ,,well , I'd better not even comment on that,it blows my mind to think of someone being so selfish to not let a child see his sick father .....no, I'm not going to get started!!!!!
